Founded by Brendan Scully, our company delivers professional excavation services and sitework solutions backed by real-world engineering expertise and large-scale construction experience.

Brendan is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, where he earned a degree in Marine Systems Engineering. He began his career as a licensed marine engineer in the offshore drilling industry before transitioning into heavy civil construction with Cianbro Corporation—one of the leading construction firms in the Northeast.

At Cianbro, Brendan worked on complex public, private, and government infrastructure projects across New England. He advanced to a Senior Manager role within the Infrastructure Team, overseeing major heavy civil construction projects, including the installation of a 6,000-ton precast dry dock entrance structure—an operation requiring precision planning, marine coordination, and advanced lifting systems.

While building his career, Brendan developed a passion for excavation and sitework. Starting with a small excavator for his own home project, he began taking on excavation jobs during nights, weekends, and any available time. As demand grew, so did his commitment to providing reliable, high-quality excavation services.

Today, Brendan leads the company full-time, offering expert excavation, site preparation, and earthwork services throughout Maine. His hands-on approach, engineering background, and dedication to quality ensure every project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
